Soft66DB2 - Software Defined Radio

Soft66DB2 is an SDR I came across while browsing eBay. It is designed and manufactured by Kazumio, JA7TDO, and you can read more about it here. It caught my attention because, even compared to the Softrock, it looks to be a very simple kit. No SMD at all means that even a novice kit builder should have no difficulty. The price too, $21 shipped, is cheap enough to fit even the most frugal of budgets.
Kazumio also supplies an optional DDS. The unit on offer is USB controlled and will go up to 34MHz, which means that it will drive the Soft66DB2 on any HF band required. The Soft66DB2 itself however, only has room for two BPFs, so you need to choose your bands and stick to them. Initially, I'm going to build this for the 40m band and later add either 30m or 20m.
